Convo With the Current 1st Year SOSE Central Board Representative

I can still remember how we first met. I was in the 2nd floor of the Gonzaga Cafeteria with my blockmates and Milan brought her to our table. People were calling her /ka-te/ so I don't mind using that pronunciation as well. :))

Catherine Therese M. Sison, or as other students call her "Kate", graduated from Immaculate Concepcion Academy. She had been so active in extra curricular back in her high school years.

Now, she is a freshman in the Ateneo de Manila University, taking BS Applied Mathematics major in Mathematical Finance.

"My job is not project making eh. But okay, I added the whole SOSE (if not whole, then most) para mas madali ma-transfer ang information. I was also part of the Incendio movie night team. I was never absent for a CB meeting. I made the SOSENEWS.WEEBLY.COM para mas madali sa information spreading regarding different things. I send SOSE-REMINDERS once in 2 weeks, or depende kung gaano kabigat yung information na kailangan i-spread kaagad. And I really ask the students if ever may kailangan i-inquire from them. I'm part of the Committee on Academic Affairs and Committee on Ways and Means of Sanggu CB committees. Tapos sa CAA, we fix academic problems and complaints, sa CWM internal siya, so we approve or question budgets of schools, and etc," said Cate as she described her job description.

I, myself, can feel her presence as the CB Rep. The way she explained how her position does the job, she really has used good media in disseminating information. I always receive announcements from her through the Yahoo! Messenger and her status in Facebook and Y!M as well. She also founded the School of Science and Engineering 2014 group in Facebook. I can say she is really dedicated and has the passion in her work.
