Chat With The 1st Year SOSE Executive Officer

I've been known Milan since my college life has started. We are from the same block in school (Block S2). One notable action he has done is to be a part of the Freshman Sanggu as the 1st Year SOSE Executive Officer.



Gian Milan Chua graduated from Ateneo High School.  He was the External Vice Head of the AKBay (Atenistang Kasama sa Buhay), an organization in AHS which is under the guidance counselor.

Currently, he is a student in the Ateneo de Manila University taking BS Management Information Systems.

I asked him to explain the nature of his job. "Basically, I'm in charge of the project making. I'm the point person sa 1st year batch by the SOSE school board. Then diba there are block reps? I'm the one in charge of them to like execute the projects and shiz," he explained.

One of the projects he implemented was the SOSE Shirt Designs. For him, this project was successful. He said, "As of now, success naman. Almost 400 SOSE people ordered. Shirts will be, most likely, released by the end of January or start of February." He was also the executive-in-charge for the SOSE Movie Night, which was held last November 19, 2010 in the Gateway Cinema.

His last and incoming project will be the Green Wall Thumb which is an interblock-fundraiser project for a tree planting activity.  Each green stamp costs 5 pesos and each block will race to be declaired as the block who donated the most number of stamps.
